see, it is cathy garcia morila again

kathryn bernardo and daniel padilla begin as a screen couple since they reach their puberty ( look for yourself). this drama is a huge sensation worldwide but too bad i don't have the access and opportunity to watch it.

it begins with my obsession over lizquen, i try not to look at other couple. because i don't expect anyone to surpass them. 'barcelone: a love story untold' trailer video always be suggested to me but i never bother to watch it.

and then a lot of their movie are been recommended to me so i try to watch 'cant help falling in love' movie. my oh my..i fall in love with them.

you dont expect to fall in love with us dont you?

the storyline at first dont convince me. how can two people dont know they are married to each other? how can two drunk person who get married is legal just because there is a Father (church leader) and three witness? how they bring a marriage form to a disco club? how how how?

but aside from that, it is a beautiful simple story. i really like the playboy-sometimeschildish-responsible-honest character like dos ibarra. daniel padilla is not as handsome as enrique gil who have mixed blood but thats the charm of daniel. he looks just like typical boy next door but still charm us with his character. fuck, he just 23 years old and got almost everything (talent, wealth, looks).

and kathryn, i would say i love how she potray the character of gab gonzales, a try-to-be matured lady but actually have a chill personality. the different between liza and kath is liza seem flawless in the screen, perfect eyes and smile but kath, she doesn't have a fixed appearance in the screen. she too is the typical girl next door who have average beauty but great personality. in emotional scene, liza tend to cry her whole heart and throw tantrum like the typical emotional woman character. but kath is good in controlling her emotion. yes, she is sad and angry, but she just have it all in her eyes and not saying it out loud. like any normal woman, we are not always too overreact with our emotion. sometimes we just want to hold it for better.

gab: i rather choose a tomorrow with you than a thousand tomorrow without you

barcelona: a love story untold is my third favorite movie of them. i really love the issue of a young thoughtless girl like mia try to find herself in this world. it is a very relevant issue that been face by our youth today. sometimes we found too hard to live in our own society circle so we decide to MOVE ON but that MOVE ON really not as easy as migrating to another country. I love the conflict with her family that expect the best from her because she is a university graduate. it is interesting to know that everywhere we go in this world, we are the same. for example when mis said she is a psychology graduate and try to look for an office job everyone chuckles and said they also have degree and master but still work as janitor, housemaid and other small job just to find their place in Barcelona. A janitor at my workplace is actually a chemistry's course graduate but still doing his job well as janitor just because he found Malaysia provide a better salary than his country.

stop stare you no-good-heart-stealing-guy!

ely and mia relationship seem predictable at the beginning. mia try to have a new life and ely try to stop living his fake life. they gave each other the reason to live on but the climax scene when mia reject ely love declaration somehow make me puzzled.

ely: i love you mia

mia: you love me not because i love you. but because you love me

what does it mean? how can she reject him? well maybe for her, he is not totally move on with celine and move on with the problem he had with his mom. forgetting someone is not moving on. but accept them and the fate is what it means by moving on. ely cannot distance himself from his mother and live in agony forever. he had to stop to wait for her mom to fix the past and forgive her to be totally moving on. with celine case, he have to stop the expectation from celine's family in order to move on with new relationship. he will not forget her, but also wont bring her shadow for the rest of his life.

wow mia, you are so true.

then there is movie of 'crazy beautiful you' which for me just an ordinary but still interesting movie. i mean the issue is not as deep as barcelona, it is something that i feel not matured enough. 

last but the very best of kathniel...

well of course my favorite version of kathniel in this story is athena and kenji. since the beginning we know that they are not fated to be together as kenji is married to athena abigail and have a grown up brat spoil son. so why bother to tell us the story that we know dont have a happy ending? just to throw salt at kenji's son (i forget his name) for the lost of his mother and no-where-to-be-found father?

yeah, i hold that unsatisfied feeling for a while. 

for the countless time, did i told you how great cathy garcia is in creating a interesting characters? athena, the girl who fears nothing and like the ordinary innocent girl next door, she force to be in relationship just because she been in wrong situation in wrong timing. of course she reject kenji as a boyfriend, that guy is rude (cliche), don't give a shit about anything and they are just not in the same wavelength. but as the story goes (cliche here we come) they seem comfortable with each other and can see the true side of each other. athena is full spirit girl who make kenji smile for her crazy cheer dance, make kenji worries when someone bully her for their fake relationship and finally make each other heart blooms when they decide to match their pro and cons to the same level. ohhhh so sweet. 

somehow, it is show that athena is not allowed to have an extreme emotion over something because she has a weak heart. it just, i can feel her situation as she want to be the same high spirit girl for kenji and act like other dating couple but it can cause her a death. 

athena: to pray for us is to wish for end of abigail

athena have to leave kenji because of her health condition which she never told him. and kenji have to leave her because he has a responsibility to abigail, his former love. 

i really like how people in the past is honest with their feeling. i mean, a ruthless character like kenji (in present) would take a long time to realise how they feel for a girl. but kenji just abruptly said he is jealous when some guy talk to athena and forbid her to do it because he feel jealous. awww... even me myself have a heart attack.when they be frank with each other about their feeling they just do it without hesitations. and their happy love story only stand for 3 months, 2 week, 3 days, 5 hours and 3 seconds (i just make up the number because i am lazy to refer to that movie). 

and you have to check out yourself for the ending of that story.

bonus: scene in pangako sayo that make me think twice

- a girl swim to your boat while you were sleeping in the middle of river, stalk you for a while, make you drown yourself (but she manage to save you) and then fight with each other because the girl's necklace is lost. weeks later she become your employee and suddenly you realised you love her. wtf.

-so it finally reveal that yna and angelo is an out-wed child of both their parent. nice. what a 'holy' true love story.

- you found your necklace when eating a fish that eat your necklaces?  wow what a storyline. and you take out that necklace from your friend's mouth, kiss and hug it before even wipe the saliva on it? wow again.

straight to the point because i really dont want this entry to drag.

dan aku nak cakap bahasa melayu (penat speaking)

1. HANA NACHI HARE

sebab subber hana nachi hare seorang yang kejam dan sibuk dengan kehidupan beliau bersama drama korea. ya tuhan, tiga episod je lagi, hanat. kau subbed la cerita ni dulu pastu aku takkan ganggu hidup kau selamanya. kenapa kau bagi harapan kat aku lepas tu kau tinggalkan aku macam teman lelaki tak guna?

okay, kes ini hanya boleh difahami oleh peminat drama tegar. ye aku macam tak ada life tapi hakikatnya aku memang tak ada life pun. nak bercinta dan berdrama dengan siapa lagi kalau aku masih single dan tak berminat dengan mana-mana manusia yang berjantina lelaki.

tak, bukan lesbian. ya tuhan cepatlah ke point nombor 2.

2. CATHY GARCIA MORILA

aku tak tahu la mak cik makan apa masa dia membesar. makan ulat macam orang asli filipina selalu makan tu kot. aku tak tahu pun kewujudan mak cik ni sampai aku habis khatam drama 'Forevermore', movie 'My Ex and Why', and last but not least (the very best of all) 'she dating the gangster'.

Omoooo the three story above is my most favorite drama, movie right now. All the story for godsake is a cliche story; rich guy poor woman, good girl dating bad boy, ex girlfriend cannot move on and such. but the way she deliver it, the content and how she end it is super duper fantastic. i am serious guys. how can you expect the original Forevermore movie (act by my first love jericho rosales) which is so cliche with town boy fall in love with village girl and fight for their love to the end could be a drama about how a boy learns to be responsible, how a girl turn an agriculture activity into part of tourism attraction, how they matured in love that take much responsibility rather than a living in fairy tale. most important of all, they are respecting liza soberano's under age restriction that they forbid any kiss or over react hug scene. they are just a simple couple who are so sweet.

ya tuhan, aku dah pergi point nombor tiga sebenarnya. dan kenapa aku guna bahasa inggeris (itu terjadi bila aku terlampau teruja).

poin nya adalah cik CGM ada magik menukarkan sesuatu yang klise dan nak muntah kepada sesuatu yang masih klise tapi boleh relatable dengan banyak orang atau isu dan cerita tu masih menarik.
dia individu yang sempurna untuk cerita romantik komedi universally. oh projek dia yang best lagi banyak dilakonkan oleh john iloyd cruz (abaikan ejaan), bea alonzo & sarah geronimo tapi aku tak ada hati dan masa lagi nak ship mereka.

3. LIZQUEN

ia adalah gabungan liza sobereno dan enrique gil (jangan tanya aku fungsi 'n' kat belakang lizquen tu). aku sebenarnya tertarik dengan diorang bila tengok iklan forevermore kat astro. aku cam hmm perempuan ni comel gak walaupun lelaki ni macam the typical hero yang ada rambut cacak (kau ingat ni era backstreet boys ke). lepas tu untuk menggunakan fungsi vod secara menyeluruh di astro, aku pun rakamlah cite ni. episod 1 & 2...hmm biasa je. tanpa aku sedar aku memang suka karakter agnes yang serius dan pemarah tu (tapi sangat manja dengan family dan kawan2) sampai aku rasa nak tukar dp aku ke muka dia. macam tu la mak cik terbabit dalam jenayah ni sampai 73 episod (it has ups and down story dan aku ambil masa juga nak habiskan). ia juga diselang selikan dengan drama dolce amore yang turut ditayangkan kat astro (sayang awak astro!).

my oh my aku suka dua-dua drama tu. ia lebih baik dari drama korea sekarang yang lebih kepada pretencious. maksudnya kaedah drama korea adalah mereka memasangkan hero dan heroin sesuka hati mereka tanpa mengira umur, bakat dan kimia (baca: chemistry) antara mereka. aku lagi menyirap bila mereka lebih suka ambil seorang idol untuk bawa watak yang perlukan personaliti lebih dari rupa (baca: seriously you want to compare that exo guy with shon oguri of that 'mark zukerberg-steve job' character in 'rich man poor man'? seriously? seriously???)

tapi aku perasan style filipina drama (abs-cbn production terutamanya) akan menggandingkan seorang pelakon lelaki dan seorang perempuan (umur 20-an) yang sama dalam banyak movie dan drama. that couple is like a brand in screen and commercial, creating a great chemistry and cooperation from both of them. mereka dah hasilkan banyak couple (in screen) yang akhirnya bersatu juga di alam realiti (macam dindong dantes dan marian rivera).

jadi aku anggap lizquen ni juga adalah salah satu brand yang berjaya walaupun aku syak diorang tak bercinta pun in real life. they just good in screen together, like kajol and shah rukh khan. aku bukan cacat sangat nak percaya perempuan semuda liza sobereno (20 years old) akan decide nak bercinta dan kahwin dengan enrique gil (26 years old. hello chingu) dalam masa terdekat. mereka masih muda jadi peminat semua, berhentilah jadi orang cacat asyik post video konon mereka bercinta in real life.
