The protagonist, as always, rich man with self-complex and poor woman with strong and motivated character eventhough she living a hell. well i would say Soo Ae is naturally beauty. i mean yes, like the hero said (in the drama) "she is the woman with sad face and i just want to make her smile", that's really suit Soo Ae. She doesn't have to strain herself to get a sad face, which sometimes i am annoyed with woman trying to make pitiful face. Like duhh only you have life complication.
Jun Ji-Hoon also, the other one emotionless face that fit the character. we just don't know what he is thinking about. yeah the drama do show the cute side of his character but it doesn't bother me since i have passed the period of OMG HE IS SO DAMN COOL BUT CUTE in his 'Goong' drama. But i like him being emotionless, as he is saying 'yeah i dont trust you to smile or talk to you, people'.
Anddddddd...the antagonist characters cast by Yeon Jung-hoon and In-Young is my favourite devilish couple. Also actor Sung Chang-hoon as Bbul-te that be the assistant of the evil character Seok-Hoon. Yeah i only realised now that he's also the evil character from city hunter. aren't he so cool for being badass? haha
Yeah, Jung-Hoon is hardly smile in this drama, his character as Seok Hoon is calm and always get an evil thought really make that character shine. i mean until the last moment he never forget about his revenge and surrender to the police just because he's nowhere to go. Yeah, that happen after his wife died after revealing her sincere love,she is his true lover. But you know i have a doubt that she is alive and faking her death by the scene at the jail which Seok-Hoon reveals he will meet his wife when he's release. i don't know whether he means that they will meet in heaven or he know she didn't die yet.
Yeah, In-Young is truly my all favourite female antagonist. She has the look that will scared anyone, the stare and evil smirk that make you remember back the annoying school seniors that looks down on you or your haters. She has the capability of be a serious and annoyed character 24/7. But seriously all the acts that she did is because she being logical and realistic. She just want to protect people that she loved. i mean she hate Seu Ah because she's dating her husband and now want to be her sister in law. Only stupid person don't smell that fishy act, so she want to stop whatever they are planning by trapping her into a car accident. And also she does'nt want his step brother to get hurt. She maybe annoyed and seem ignorant, but she know what his brother feels about being an outcast. She doesn't care of owning the company like her mother did, she just want to love her husband, protect her family and having a child. Woman is just as simple as that guys.
Well, another character that would stand for Seok-Hoon is his assistant, Bbul-te or also known as Scar in DramaBean blog (i dont know if he actually called by that in this drama cause heck the unconsistent translation). He is as evil as Seok Hoon, his silence is his weapon. You just don't know him because no scene about his true character, motive, believe or whatsoever. He's just being there, assist Seok Hoon in evil plan. Until the last moment, he still loyal to Seok Hoon and help him to run away (with his own decision, not being order by Seok Hoon). I mean in that critical moment he can easily betray Seok Hoon or stay silent if he want to have a peaceful life but he did not. Nobody knows why, and even the writer does not think about him but that the interesting part of that character. He is a silencer that kills people without no reason, or maybe will not reveal his true reason. He just evil as he should be.
Well the truth is, everybody do wear a mask. But we just don't boastful about it. Otherwise we will become a pathetic person.
