Assalamualaikum
Har har har...
Why am I want to explain this so badly? Okay
There's a saying;
When people give you lemon, make a lemonade out of it
I understand the saying as to make good of something even if it is bad.
Turn the negative into positive.
Well.. is that right?
If I am wrong please forgive my laziness to do research about the meaning of the saying.
But actually i am the type of person who like to think whatever i want to believe.
stubborn person.
So who the lemon in my story?
It is an author named Syaz Johar.
I am not a die hard fan of him but he is the right person that i can refer about how to turn bad thing into good.
He, like a cliche action movie director, like to view horrible thing (like sex, crime and whatsoever) at the beginning of story.
Like the movie of Bohsia ,where we see the wild things before the characters repent or turn good at the end. Yeah, you see many kind of movie with that recipe, right?
So reading his work, I admit that some of them are like... make the woman reputation go into the lowest level. I hate it at first but until the end, the insult towards woman is actually make sense.
Maybe in the eye of some man, they only see woman as a fault, a low human creature so they don't respect them. Yes, it happen in the real world. You have to agree with him.
Kougar, an 'andartu' girl who turn miserable after she got raped, his young boyfriend just want an easy-relationship-without-responsibility, she got into forceful marriage just because she getting old, she had unhappy marriage that make her doing sex with her worker and at the end she barely escaped the marriage cage but have to endure the family, society sceptism about 'janda'. anyone doesn't agree with me that it can happen in real life? he bring the character to the lowest level, it must be he hate them. or actually he want to make us think why the prophet Muhammad s.a.w said that getting marriage is one of his sunnah? Because that is the nature of human, of woman that have to be protected by man. Feminism refuse the fact that woman need man (marriage) but can you see the effect? It is all begin in how a woman take care of herself. How is she covering her aurah, forbiding the wrongful relationship with man. She might be called 'kampung', 'so lame', 'kolot' but Allah rules do protect human.
Next in Tabu, about a fat woman with her own taboo about beautiful woman (a.k.a thin, fair skin) and also woman wearing scarf. She herself doesn't care if her boyfriend is a Negro guy and feels secure with him (as she think they suit each other well). I quit forget the whole story but most of the part, the woman critisizing about other woman. She look down on woman who wears scarf with tight clothes (skinnyjeans, legging). But she herself wearing skirts that looks like going to burst with her fat body. If you think that she has a problematic family (who not practicing Islam) then you're wrong. She has a typical mother who live in a village, with typical babbling mouth who always remind her to pray, to be a good woman. That story really make me think that actually most of the time we doing sins because of ourselves. It's like 80% depend on our decision to choose the life path and only 20% to other party.
See? Who says Fixi books are for a bunch of rebellious kid who does not know the boundary or literally a sex or crime book? These kind of story do make us scared of how the world can go crazy and out of our control. But at least these book speak of the truth, something realistic that can actually happen. It show the worst situation from our wildest imagination so we take precautions. It's better than a fantasy escapenism that bring you far from reality.
My advice, lemon is good for health. But too much of it can also cause you stomach ache. So take deliberately guys.
Till then bye =)

T.A.M
Assalamualaikum.
T.A.M
Another novel that have it's own drama adaptation. Anyone can guess it.
Okay it start with Tuan Anas M*****
Got it right?
Haha
Duhh..another novel review?
I don't want to comment like i hating it a lot.
Because i did before with 'Love You Mr A*******' and end with going crazy about it after copying the drama from my friend.
*curiosity really kill the coolness
Well what i can say about TAM is it is another cliche drama.
Ordinary girl met extraordinary guy in an unexpected event. The guy must be rich and arrogant, the girl must be cheerful, positive, and easy going type.
I think nowadays that time of storyline had become a basis. If you dont have it then you are doomed.
Pftt..please talk to the hand
Well there are some reasons why i can't agree with this novel although i only watch few of it
1. Okay i can tolerate if you want to stick with the cliche. do as you wish. but can you offer something that actually..useful? i mean we can predict everything from the start. just please. korea drama is successful and worth watching because they actually have something useful to offer to viewer. For example, cliche rich-guy-poor-woman theme in Hello Monster revolving a detectives story with brilliant conflict, Emergency Couple revolves around medical field, She's Pretty revolves about self-esteem and editorial job, Kill Me Heal Me revolves around psychology field, Falling for Innocence about secretarial job and creditors play big role in a company ....and yeah i dont watch many Korea drama these day. You can state whatever drama you think is best.
I am giving too much example. But the point is
Girl jobless > Replacing his mom become maid in rich house (happens to own by bachelor handsome guy) > Fight with the boss without sense > Offered a job worth RM 10 000 as a payment for her mistakes> Live near with the boss and have full authority to enter his personal place (office) *so that more love scene can be made
Sigh~
So you teach woman to;
-Argue with your boss when you're the one who make the mistakes (workers happen to be deaf when it comes to scolding session, in a reasonable situation because we admit our mistakes. With mistakes we learn our lesson)
-Blindly receive job offer worth RM 10 000
Don't you watch news or reading newspaper? Human exploitation, drug, crime... there is only 1% of chance for us to not being in any of those situation if we let our guard down. I am not telling you to become doubt or paranoia with everything but at least have some sense
Even if you know him well, i bet your sense and sensibility is at the low level. Do some research
-Blindly do everything that he told you
I dont think cooking and driving include in the job description as personal assistant or any office job. No. He already has his own assistant so why bother to have you? So that assistant also had a special tutor to learn all that things? (*seriously chef wan as a cook tutor? and personal drive teacher to teach you auto car? AUTO? SERIOUSLY?).
-Blindly leaving your OWN house to move into small house so that you live near to your boss? Seriously? I dont bother if you migrating to another region, district for a job but it clearly in the same village, district....seriously woman? and her mother?)
Sigh~
This drama, no, a lot of story nowadays just want woman to have sweet fantasy of what happiness mean. If you dont met rich guy then you dont have achievement. Seriously? (*repeating the word 'seriously' over and over).
I dont need child fantasy. I need a solution. A realistic solution. An awaken story that inspire others to move forward. Happiness is not just about material. Yes, poor woman can marry to rich guy and have happy ending. But look around you. What is wrong about the world now? How a story, even a simple one can make one heart inspire. It is not nap time. Because we have enough nap time when the time come. It's about to build a meaningful life, here and thereafter. Appreciating and focusing on what really important in our life.
This opinion i believe is shared by many people. so stop make unnecessary thing goes viral. People please, stop this madness.stop pushing me to look for the book when it's out of stock too. Like seriously. And in my next entry i want to share about an author that actually love to give me lemon so i can made lemonade.
till then, bye.

TPI a review
Assalamualaikum
Again and again and again and again..
Again I read something that i really think a cliche
*fyi girl, saying cliche is already clich.pftt..
Working in a bookstore, with many novels and the trend of drama adaptations make people go crazy. Like seriously. You should differentiate the pieces for drama and the pieces for novels (that should stay genuinely in readers imagination).
Ada dua kondisi aja yang buat aku membaca novel. Satu memang aku suka penulisnya atau kedua, just a curiousity of why something become hit.
Jadi aku nak menilai satu buku yang aku baca. Well posting here in my blog would not make it dramatic as if i post it on goodreads (which will appear on my facebook account) and facebook itself. I dont need people to comment to my thought.
So there are 10 things i want to say about this anonymous novel that let me call it 'TPI'. Seriously i don't want my blog to appear in the search engine as people google the real title.
1. Cliche one: Girl who jobless and searching for a job
That's to make us think that this girl has nothing, a type that people have to sympathy for. Yes, unemployment graduate is the most saddest type of person on Earth.pray for them, ameen.
Heh.
2.Unrealistic event: The girl father turn to have a rich friend that owes him a life. So the rich uncle (father's friend) offer a job to her at his son company.
Oh, is it a common for someone to get a job because she/ he has connection? Yeah. But it just too good to be true. Why not showing something that make people think they should work hard to get what they want? Like what Makoto did (i dont get over with this Makoto yet.please refer to previous entry if you are lost who the hell is she). She lied to Toru Hyuga, using his weakness to get the job. Well yeah she does not mean to do that but he the one who piss her off first. So she deserves a sweet revenge for been insulted by Toru as Miss Tokyo University. Yeay, go girl.
3. Unrealistic event: Seriously, i dont have an experience to know someone who is actually a player, playboy or whatever you call it. But do some research ladies!! You don't simply say a guy is a player because she dating or sleep with woman, sweet talker, go to pub and people mentioning his goddess level of face like hundred time. So pathetic. Go buy book The Game Player by Neil Strauss and learn something to actually highlight the player part. Yes, at the end every man just have to devoting himself to Allah s.w.t, so does this type of bad person. But he is so pathetic that i don't interested to how he become a good man. *i miss neil from 3 Hati
4. Well i dont like to say this. But imagine you're meeting a long lost friend who had change drastically to something bad. Then you simply hate her for that changes. The heroine don't hesitate to hate that friend & blurt out "bertaubatlah sebelum terlambat" just because she wearing skirt. so what are you? ahli syurga? hakim mahkamah syurga?
i am not trying to defend a wrongful thing but seriously there is a different if someone actually want you to be good Muslim or just want to mentioning he/she is more noble than you. why don't she try to ask her why she become like that. there must be a huge big reason for a woman to put off her scarf. even liana jasmay character in new york cinta have some sense in it. She said to Juliana Evans's character "why you put off your scarf? you're so sweet wearing it before this". then that girl answered she have to do that to fit in to the new york environment. see. ask, understand and then talk. dont simply judge, woman.
5. again the thing about tudung. bismillahirahman nirahim. i am really saying this because i think many people got the wrong idea about it. it's not about tudung, it's about covering aurah. you know in 80 and 90 era, only like 20% of Malaysian woman (teenagers, adult, veteran) wearing tudung. yet the social problem are not as scary as nowadays. eventhough they are not covering their hair, but they did cover their eyes, ear from things that destructive. that is also part of covering aurah, have shame to Allah and protecting yourself. nowadays people wearing tudung but don't covered their behaviour. seriously i don't think there is part in Malaysia that people never see a woman with tudung. Come on, even Siti Nurhaliza wearing it, so saying that 'tudung thing is weird' is lame. The problem now is there is a woman wearing tudung but don't obey Allah's rules and regulation. that should be the real issue, girl.
6. commenting outfit again: seriously. please. i am begging you. i even have roomates and housemates who wears purdah. the things is purdah is not part of arab fashion. you say arabian night, desert...and you imagine a girl wearing purdah with beautiful eyes. nooooooo. i am here really respecting girl wearing purdah. because it show that they are forbiding themselves from behaves badly. it is like a triple protection, from human fitnah, from syaitan propaganda, and so many more. they make effort to protect their belief through the outfit. so please just dont ruin it, okay. stop wearing purdah and make an excessive eye make up because it's just same as revealing your face with heavy makeup like a club girl. it does attract man to have interest with us. then what's the point of wearing it?
7. i hate skinship. just stop making a scene with that thought okay. you dont simply fall in love just because your eyes met and you hug her accidently. that's so korean drama. stop okay. Allah as the Director of our life always protecting us. So dont simply become a selfish director creating a scene where a man and woman hug accidently and fall in love. if there's sinful thing at the first place, dont you think the relationship loose it barakah. ohh..just want to remind it goes same with the married couple. just dont share your 'bed story' okay. romantic can come in a cool way. Like what Noh Hujan did to Miss Nina ....writing romantic songs to her!! *ahah kau dah kenapa tiba-tiba
8. okay, i admit i dont fully read the whole story. but can i know who the hell infected with OCD disease? because i can't see anyone. so if there is only a little thing about ocd then you dont have to write 3 pages of information about it. seriously.
9. i am losing ideas to critic. so can we stop at number nine.
okay, i am a japan, taiwan, korean movie lover and i had watch many love scenes. but reading a book about my people (Malaysia, Muslim, Malay) doing the same thing as them it's really sad. stop giving preservatives to the reader.give lemon to us, so we can make lemonade. i'll explain this in my next entry. sorry for the long post. here a flower @@@@------------
