Assalamualaikum
Again and again and again and again..
Again I read something that i really think a cliche
*fyi girl, saying cliche is already clich.pftt..
Working in a bookstore, with many novels and the trend of drama adaptations make people go crazy. Like seriously. You should differentiate the pieces for drama and the pieces for novels (that should stay genuinely in readers imagination).
Ada dua kondisi aja yang buat aku membaca novel. Satu memang aku suka penulisnya atau kedua, just a curiousity of why something become hit.
Jadi aku nak menilai satu buku yang aku baca. Well posting here in my blog would not make it dramatic as if i post it on goodreads (which will appear on my facebook account) and facebook itself. I dont need people to comment to my thought.
So there are 10 things i want to say about this anonymous novel that let me call it 'TPI'. Seriously i don't want my blog to appear in the search engine as people google the real title.
1. Cliche one: Girl who jobless and searching for a job
That's to make us think that this girl has nothing, a type that people have to sympathy for. Yes, unemployment graduate is the most saddest type of person on Earth.pray for them, ameen.
Heh.
2.Unrealistic event: The girl father turn to have a rich friend that owes him a life. So the rich uncle (father's friend) offer a job to her at his son company.
Oh, is it a common for someone to get a job because she/ he has connection? Yeah. But it just too good to be true. Why not showing something that make people think they should work hard to get what they want? Like what Makoto did (i dont get over with this Makoto yet.please refer to previous entry if you are lost who the hell is she). She lied to Toru Hyuga, using his weakness to get the job. Well yeah she does not mean to do that but he the one who piss her off first. So she deserves a sweet revenge for been insulted by Toru as Miss Tokyo University. Yeay, go girl.
3. Unrealistic event: Seriously, i dont have an experience to know someone who is actually a player, playboy or whatever you call it. But do some research ladies!! You don't simply say a guy is a player because she dating or sleep with woman, sweet talker, go to pub and people mentioning his goddess level of face like hundred time. So pathetic. Go buy book The Game Player by Neil Strauss and learn something to actually highlight the player part. Yes, at the end every man just have to devoting himself to Allah s.w.t, so does this type of bad person. But he is so pathetic that i don't interested to how he become a good man. *i miss neil from 3 Hati
4. Well i dont like to say this. But imagine you're meeting a long lost friend who had change drastically to something bad. Then you simply hate her for that changes. The heroine don't hesitate to hate that friend & blurt out "bertaubatlah sebelum terlambat" just because she wearing skirt. so what are you? ahli syurga? hakim mahkamah syurga?
i am not trying to defend a wrongful thing but seriously there is a different if someone actually want you to be good Muslim or just want to mentioning he/she is more noble than you. why don't she try to ask her why she become like that. there must be a huge big reason for a woman to put off her scarf. even liana jasmay character in new york cinta have some sense in it. She said to Juliana Evans's character "why you put off your scarf? you're so sweet wearing it before this". then that girl answered she have to do that to fit in to the new york environment. see. ask, understand and then talk. dont simply judge, woman.
5. again the thing about tudung. bismillahirahman nirahim. i am really saying this because i think many people got the wrong idea about it. it's not about tudung, it's about covering aurah. you know in 80 and 90 era, only like 20% of Malaysian woman (teenagers, adult, veteran) wearing tudung. yet the social problem are not as scary as nowadays. eventhough they are not covering their hair, but they did cover their eyes, ear from things that destructive. that is also part of covering aurah, have shame to Allah and protecting yourself. nowadays people wearing tudung but don't covered their behaviour. seriously i don't think there is part in Malaysia that people never see a woman with tudung. Come on, even Siti Nurhaliza wearing it, so saying that 'tudung thing is weird' is lame. The problem now is there is a woman wearing tudung but don't obey Allah's rules and regulation. that should be the real issue, girl.
6. commenting outfit again: seriously. please. i am begging you. i even have roomates and housemates who wears purdah. the things is purdah is not part of arab fashion. you say arabian night, desert...and you imagine a girl wearing purdah with beautiful eyes. nooooooo. i am here really respecting girl wearing purdah. because it show that they are forbiding themselves from behaves badly. it is like a triple protection, from human fitnah, from syaitan propaganda, and so many more. they make effort to protect their belief through the outfit. so please just dont ruin it, okay. stop wearing purdah and make an excessive eye make up because it's just same as revealing your face with heavy makeup like a club girl. it does attract man to have interest with us. then what's the point of wearing it?
7. i hate skinship. just stop making a scene with that thought okay. you dont simply fall in love just because your eyes met and you hug her accidently. that's so korean drama. stop okay. Allah as the Director of our life always protecting us. So dont simply become a selfish director creating a scene where a man and woman hug accidently and fall in love. if there's sinful thing at the first place, dont you think the relationship loose it barakah. ohh..just want to remind it goes same with the married couple. just dont share your 'bed story' okay. romantic can come in a cool way. Like what Noh Hujan did to Miss Nina ....writing romantic songs to her!! *ahah kau dah kenapa tiba-tiba
8. okay, i admit i dont fully read the whole story. but can i know who the hell infected with OCD disease? because i can't see anyone. so if there is only a little thing about ocd then you dont have to write 3 pages of information about it. seriously.
9. i am losing ideas to critic. so can we stop at number nine.
okay, i am a japan, taiwan, korean movie lover and i had watch many love scenes. but reading a book about my people (Malaysia, Muslim, Malay) doing the same thing as them it's really sad. stop giving preservatives to the reader.give lemon to us, so we can make lemonade. i'll explain this in my next entry. sorry for the long post. here a flower @@@@------------
