Bebelia 2.0

Dear si ibu, hang pernah pergi sekolah tak?

Jadi anak hang trauma. Hang datang sekolah dan only god knows what you doing with that teacher sampai dia merangkak. Hang duduk dalam kelas tu,hang rakam.

Hang rasa hang hero , dah tunjuk kat satu Malaysia bertapa tak gunanya cikgu tu. Hang suruh la orang lain tepuk, aku tak nak jadi penonton atau penyokong hang.

Jadi beberapa benda aku nak soal kat sini:

Kenapa?

Enough of that.

"Eh, kenapa mak awak jahat sangat semalam? Dia paksa ustazah merangkak"

Tentang gambar diatas tu, itulah aku 11 tahun dulu.
Aku bukan mengejar A+ untuk anak muridku.

drama review part 3: hanbun aoi

this drama is almost 156 episodes, with duration of 15 minutes each episode. So what do you expect the ending is just that. pftt..

Ryoji, Suzume's husband left her to pursue his dream to be film director. So they had divorce and Suzume come back home with her daughter, Kan-Chan. She is building her life one again as a single mom.

Coincidentally, she met Ritsu who at that time working temporarily at the electronic company in their village. Wako-Chan, his mother is having cancer so he wants to take care of her along with his father. Ritsu still married to his wife and have a son.

At the reunion, they catch up back the lost year where they do not contact with each other. Suzume learns that Ritsu had a problem with his wife as he prefers to come here and take care of Wako Chan. It is funny that Suzume are so direct to discuss about their last moment together, that is when Ritsu proposed her. Ritsu convinced her that it is all in the past and he holds no grudges towards her. They seem to be back to their childhood days living at the village.

Suzume open Goheimichi store with the help of her grandpa and Ritsu. At the same time, Kan Chan (Suzume's daughter) have a good friendship with Ritsu just like Suzume had with him in their childhood. Those happy days come to end when Wako Chan die, but Suzume glad that she can help make her happy at her last moments.

Ritsu is given the opportunity to study abroad, at Stanford University. He is reluctant to leave the village but his wife insist. She does not want to stay as an ordinary chief department's wife but want Ritsu to create innovation that helps mankind. She knows Ritsu had so much potential and he should not waste it.

He suddenly realised that in their marriage, he is so thankful to his wife that he never argue or scold her no matter how bad she behaves. Suzume convince him that he should make effort to save their marriage for the sake of their son. So Ritsu left to oversea with his wife and son.

A happy ending for Ritsu.

At this moment, bear in mind how disappointed fan of drama 'How I Met Your Mother' when Ted ends up with Robin, just as the first episode of the series. It makes all the journey they face before this, and the relationship they had with other people are useless because they keep coming back to each other.

So yes, that happen to this drama.

Coming back from oversea as a widower, Ritsu settle in Tokyo working at his last company. But he feel like he lost the motivation in his career. Then Suzume happen again.

As Ritsu pursue his study for two years in Stanford, Suzume take the work opportunity at Tsumagari innovation company. She had a tough life after Tsumagari left the company with debt and force her to sell Goheimichi in the street. Somehow, Suzume and Kan-Chan give him the idea to be an innovator. Suzume sick mom give him the idea to make a fan that blow gentle breeze like the natural breeze.

As they are working together, their love towards each other also blooms.

Casually, they end up like this

Kyaa! My heart is exploding.
This scene make me blushing but seconds later, this scene ends with funny action from Suzume. How can the writer being so cruel to give them just this one sweet moment as a lover?

Okay back to the business.

I like how they seriously make innovation together even though Suzume is not bright, she has many creative ideas that help Ritsu overcome the problem. At a moment, Suzume tell Ritsu to give up with their work because it is going nowhere. I have a feeling that Suzume mean about their relationship too. She feels Ritsu are too good to be with a widower like her who have nothing to be proud of. But Ritsu convinces her that he is prepared to all the hardship once he makes the decision to work with her.

ohhhhhh...*melting

Then before the story ends, Suzume had lost Yuko in a natural disaster. She becomes weak for the lost but with Kan Chan & Ritsu by her side, she recovers in a short time.

The last scene show they are launching their product at their village. They meet friends from the schools, colleague work and all their family member. Suzume remember all the journey that she had gone through, the people she had met and she never regret anything in the past although it hurts her.

And at every phase, she always comes back to Ritsu, same like the 'God Fate' story. They are destined to be together since the beginning but God just let them experiencing other failure and the heartbroken moment just to make them mature.

Hanbun Aoi, said Suzume. When she was small, everyone says the sky is blue. But she said it is half blue, considering the existence of the cloud. It also refers to her disabilities, she can only hear using one ear. But that does not make her stop her from dream big and achieve it.

drama review part 2: hanbun aoi

At this point, we knew the cheerful, hardworking and creative Suzume had made her dream to be a manga artist come true.  She is left by her best friend Ritsu and two close friends at work. Basically, she is alone in achieving her dreams.

But, the thing with Ritsu is, he had become part of her life. So when her neighbours back in the village had a wedding ceremony, she had to attend it even though she afraid of meeting Ritsu. This is the first time in her life they not talking to each other for years. She manages to avoid Ritsu during the ceremony as she comes late (had problems with her clothes). However, when her best friend Nagano tells her that Ritsu had broken up with Saya, she can't control her delightfulness.

She just feels she had to meet Ritsu so she chases the train at the station and blows the whistle that she always used to call Ritsu during their childhood. However, the train had taken off and left Suzume with disappointment. Miraculously, Ritsu doesn't take that train and they finally met.

They catch up with each other before both of them take the next train returning to each other place (Ritsu currently continue his study at Kyoto).

Then this happens,

"I decide to fulfil your dream to see me as a robot engineer and currently working at the robot company", said Ritsu.
"How do you know about it?"
"Here, I take this paper that you put on the wishing tree back in Tokyo".

"So, would you marry me?", said Ritsu.
And the wishing paper flies away.

We keep Suzume answer as a secret first.

Once, when Ritsu had a crush with Saya back in high school, Suzume makes a manga about their love story. How Ritsu fall in love with Saya's delicate and elegant. But as Ritsu and Saya had to part away, Suzume does not know how to end the story.
The story is call 'God Fate' (i actually don't remember). In the story, God had destined Ritsu and Saya character to be destined together but the paper slip away from God's hand blew by the wind. They are apart for many years until they are 55 years old. At that time only God found back the destiny paper of Ritsu & Saya. They live happily ever after.

Come back to reality, the screen shows few years later. At this time, Suzume is 28 years old and still struggling to be the top manga artist, competing with other new talents from other company. She feels burn out and say she suppose to accept Ritsu's proposal few years back.
Yes, she says no to Ritsu. Without explaining why and they are part away again until now.

So Yuko & Bureto convince Suzume that she should find Ritsu before it too late. She said she wants to be successful first before confessing her love for Ritsu. However, a mail came to Master Akikaze, Suzume and few of her friends.

Ritsu had been married to a girl and live in Osaka.

Suddenly, Suzume feels she hit rock bottom. She cries on her bed a few days, reluctant to eat or work. She is too depressed with the news. She blames herself for not accepting Ritsu proposal back then. Now she realised that she really love Ritsu more than just a friend. She blurts out all her rage, including blaming Yuko and Bureto for leaving her alone to go through a different path of life. At this moment, I realised Suzume is not a total innocent girl, she just prefers to keep her anger and dissatisfaction alone. She blamed everything including herself.

For the last time, before move on with her life, she quietly visits Ritsu's house in Osaka. She blow the whistle, but it is Ritsu's wife appear at the balcony (doing laundry). She asks if Suzume is looking for someone but Suzume just left. Suzume decide to end her career as a manga artist as she no longer has inspiration to write. But Master Akikaze insists that she must make a last piece of manga-work as a farewell to the manga world.

She gives everything to complete her last piece of work until there is no emotion left for her. All her sad, disappointment, hope and rage are dedicated in the piece, with the help of Master Akikaze that finished up Suzume's work. Suzume promise herself to never look back, never again draw.

At this moment I feel in reaching for our dreams, sometimes we can't help but satisfy with the average achievement even though we had given our best. Not everybody can be very famous or very successful in their field, so when the right time comes, we have to let go of the dream and create other dreams.

Life still goes on even though we feel that our world stop spinning. So does Suzume. She found a new ordinary job at a shop and continue her life in Tokyo. She met a man, marry him, got a daughter and everything will be fine. She really blessed with good people around her.

Another happy ending for Suzume.

drama review: hanbun aoi

now, where do I start with the awesomeness of this drama?

so this is Suzume & Ritsu. born on the same day, same place, same time but huge difference. since she was a baby, Suzume is known as the monkey for her not-good-looking looks & craziness, compare to Ritsu who have perfect face & decent behaviours.

but nevertheless, they are best friend. this story focuses on Suzume, a cheerful and blur girl who grew up in the village with her friends. at early 9 years old, one of her ears is infected with a virus that makes her lost her hearing (but at one side only). yes, it seems like a simple conflict but I love how she, her family and her friends overcome the conflict.

she had a happy teens life together with Ritsu and their two other friends. so at this point, I feel bore for a while because seriously Ritsu had no feeling towards Suzume and vice versa. they don't have the usual story of a best friend become a lover. plus, both of them are having a relationship with other people although it doesn't stand last.

Suzume, as the most not-brilliant person among them, begins to worry about her future. while other people busy preparing a resume for job application or university application, Suzume feels that the odd job doesn't suit her. she even had a huge argument with her mother that have a hard time find work at a factory that accepts her disability. Suzume is a girl full of surprises. suddenly one day, she decides to be a manga artist because she really loves to read manga and she can draw too.

she quit stubborn at choosing this path. but Ritsu helps her to meet her favourite manga-artist and send her drawing. Master Haori Akikaze accept her to work under him. At this point, I kinda feel the heavy heart that she feels when at the first time she left her village to go to Tokyo. Alone. Well, Ritsu will join her later because he got admit to University Tokyo but it is not sure whether they can be as close as before.

so goodbye for now, friend.

There are funny moments at the beginning of her career life in Tokyo. But due to her stubbornness, she manages to be one of manga-artist along with two colleague,  Bureto & Yuko. Her struggle as a manga-artist begins and she learns that it is not easy to actually publish manga in a magazine.
As for me, I like the idea of how each of these talented artists has their own struggle. Bureto left Tinkerbell Office after publishing his work in an inappropriate adult magazine. Plus, he is using Suzume's idea to debut at another company. Yuko, the most talented person among them have a successful workpiece & one of her works been adapted into television series. However, she faces 'burn out' phase that she lost her interest in drawing manga. She gets married to a rich guy and later pursues her other dream of becoming a nurse.

And there is Suzume left alone. Do you remember Ritsu is supposed to be in Tokyo? Yes, accidentally they meet again a few days after Ritsu come to Tokyo. Ritsu tries to live alone without Suzume but at many times the girl seems to need his support. So their relationship goes on as usual and there is no chance of them falling in love because Ritsu already has a girlfriend, his first love from high school named Saya.

You think their relationship is smooth? Well, think again. Suzume is a carefree girl who treats everyone nicely. Plus, she is so straight forward and innocent, so everyone love to be by her side. But not Saya. Suzume does not know where the jealousy begins but Saya becomes more controlled over Ritsu especially when he hangs out with Suzume. Suzume can feel the hatred so she tries to avoid becoming the third person in their relationship. However, on her birthday (which also Ritsu birthday), Master Akikaze throw a party for her and buy her cake. He forced her to give the cake to Ritsu too because they have a good relationship.

Suzume reluctant to enter Ritsu apartment seeing Saya was there(Ritsu was out), but Saya insists she comes in (at that time there is Yuko too). And that's how the conflict begins. Saya confronts Suzume indirectly that Ritsu is her. Suzume becomes furious and said Ritsu still her friend. Saya gets angry and begins to blurt out everything she doesn't satisfy. She tears Suzume, Ritsu and their two friends photo saying that she wants to be the first person over anything for Ritsu.

Ritsu comes home and Saya complains to him that Suzume makes all the mess. Suzume and Yuko go out without saying anything.

Of course, Ritsu does not believe Saya's story. He knows Suzume well more than she knows herself. They had dinner together, and clarify a thing. Ritsu said, he does not belong to either Saya & Suzume, he is himself. At that point, both of them know that they should stop seeing each other. So they bid farewell.

Did Suzume capable of having a love life? Does every person she met think that she is easy, dumb and too conservative that any man won't be interested in her? Even Ritsu walk away from her life, and he has been with her almost all her life.

Don't worry Suzume is good by herself. Plus, she has been in two love relationship but it doesn't stay long. So Suzume spends a few years to become a successful manga-artist. Without Ritsu, without Yuko or Bureto (although they always visit her so she is not lonely). Life goes on.
