To answer that question in the title, here is the picture
yes very dull except for the picture |
But first lemme explain about the picture (my alter ego: err do you have to? people don't really care actually).
Ok once upon a time i am the person who very particular about the wallpaper picture on my phone and laptop. But as my laptop had several 'accident' and 'bleed' so i am too lazy to update it because i know the picture won't last long. So why Vivy and his kids involve in this boring matter?
Haha because of their sentiment in this picture. Two cheeky kids with a worried mom. This picture is full of emotion, not in a hard or heavy way but just nice. And moreover Mariam have my soft spot, i just love her. It is the sincerity in this photo that I look up everytime I open my laptop.
Gituh.
Nowadays people like to look up on Instafamous people, Youtuber, Facebooker who had strength in their field of interest. People who love sport always look up to Messi video, cool university students get mindblown by Matluthfi's videos, and fashion people are so into Vivy Yusof for her glamorous style (and lifestyle). That's few example of how people interest influence their people preference.
Being a famous people had a really high price to pay.
As I scrolling the notification on Youtube I can't help but had to acknowledge some of famous people issue. Some of it are intended to show on Youtube (vlogger) and some are not (fan/hater/tabloid made video). So I wonder how it feels to be viewed by millions of people, the good and bad side of people reaction and perspective. Here some example of the cases that I acknowledge;
1. The case involving one actor who seems to act strangely and believed to be under drug addiction. How people and the tabloid actually make many videos and speculating on every action that he and his family did.
Mrs D goes to court today
Why Mrs D don't visit her husband
Actor S said 'Your husband is doomed...'
Mr F being chased until toilet...< true story
The title is so stupid that I don't intend to watch. Yes, I want to know what actually happen to him but I rather heard about him from the news. It is not necessary to get information from an established media (cough TV3 cough government) but also from few wise person that make a neutral reaction towards one issue.
For example how Ustaz Don relating a Korean singer suicide case (and the related issue) with depression problem. Rather than criticising the fanatic fans (muslim) who had extreme mourns over the deceased, he make a rigid explanation that Islam prohibited that manner and then he more focus to discuss the root problem (that is depression).
So I think people (including me) should chose the right person (or source) to listen or look up to before jumping into conclusion. I think I rather be 'the frog under a shell' over one issue (that not so important to my life) than being a person who misjudged people.
2. The video about one public figure's daily life. Ok, the good thing about her is she have many things to show to the world. Her lavish lifestyle and work, her cute family, her expensive stuff and cool things she could done because she rich. Pause it right there.
Maybe some of the viewer would judge 'why la you so show off with your wealth' and other negative comments. I am not trying to defend her but well at least can we put on our white positive hat just a while?
First that I can see is she is businesswoman and that is one of her marketing strategy. Admit it everyone love to see rich people life rather than poor people who can't afford to even buy rice (raise up your hand if you choose to watch Keeping Up with Kardishian over Bersamamu TV3). So she is using human weakness to promote her product. It is a trend for millenials to show off, so she just doing her job.
As I mention there is a high price to pay. Don't you think that these public figure have less freedom to be, to do or to go to wherever they are? Anywhere you go people are watching you with good and bad intention...pftt i passed that. I really hate even if one person watching me without a reason.
So no need to be so negative in it.
3. The video about people showing their ignorance and stupidity. Example making parody or songs or whatever type on entertainment that is just stupid.
If you are clever, you would not watching it. If you fall for it then just accept that. Nobody ask your opinion except for a blank space provided by Youtube (comment section).
In this matter truthfully I never watch some of the videos that I think just wasting my time.
A video about stupid song featuring controversial people.
A video of an ignorant teenager wearing heavy make up and being bitch.
A video about a weird actor who denying his depression and self conflict
Everyone should have their own stand point about some issue in media social. They can look up to anybody that they want but they dont have the authority to judge them. If you are watching stupid video just as an entertainment then no need to be so serious about it. If you want to be serious then watch serious video. As the saying goes;
'..if you don't like the video...just subscribe anyway it is free who cares'
Haha.
