Les Liaisons dangereuses

Assalamualaikum
greetings

The Great Seducer

The disadvantage of Youtube?
You been deceived to watch new korean drama. Duhhh
I need to cut off my temptation of drama and have a real good life

Well basically i am attracted to this drama because of Joy. I love her character (more than Suzy) in Uncontrollably Fond just because she pretty and cool. Sometimes she just be the cliche cute idol girl but still there is cool side about her that not make me too cringe.

Second is the storyline. A casanova guy try to seduce an innocent yet a girl who having the biggest wonderwall around her, always do friendzone towards guy. It seem like a typical teen drama but surprisingly the story is actually based on a french novel title 'Les Liaisons Dangereuses' which focused on how two upper class people manipulate the society using seduction (many type of seduction such as sex, money, politics and power).

Watching 8 episode of the drama today make me feel interested not with Tae Hee character (innocent girl who Seo Hyun has to seduce in his bet with Su ji) but instead the character of Suji. She is like the cliche brat spoil rich kid who can do whatever she like hanging out with whomever she like and have this poker face (she dislike everyone but still be the eye candy of all her schoolmates that she became the head student council). And with one rejection from an oppa that she like, she throw a plan to destroy the socialite connection that ki young (the oppa) try to establish by marriage.

The original story is interesting and the adaptation in the drama make us much understand of the original plot. Plus Korean drama are famous for over-react their wealth, humour and such so we can take an easy time to understand the story. I start to sense that all these inmatured plan of three young chaebol are not going to be easy. It will loaded by the cliche 'rich people stories' of power struggle, revenge, unrequited love, family issue, inheritance...all that make me want to throw up. Enough with BOF, Heir and all the wannabe rich people drama, they are just making their life hard by caring about unnecessary thing.

So in a simple word, I don't admire rich people drama especially when the main role is three childish character who supposedly need to find work or go to college rather than plan a revenge.  But I am eager to watch the ending. Are they going with the same ending as the original one or put a fairy tale 'happily ever after' ending? Surely one thing about Korean drama that I know, some of the story really dont deserve good ending as revenge kills all the good and bad side. Like what happen in 'Bad Guy' ending which make me so frustrated.

Hey actually i want to say much thing.

so continue with drama ramble 2.0
