Salam. Greetings.
Ah aku tak kira aku nk bebel jgk kat sini. It is about malaysia's sweet heart bergegar tulang rusuk para gadis la sangat... Yb sayid sadiq.

You can watch the video on link above. Or if cannot just go to awani tv website, search 'mat luthfi'.
So this is the recent interview. Bare in your mind i am a fan of mat luthfi but it is not necessary i watch all the series because sometimes the issue and guest are boring.
So does that mean i am a fan of yb sayid saddiq? Nope. Truthly i dont see a guy who was born 1993 onwards as a guy/man. I know it is biased but thats my first impression about YSS (i short form his name). So i am not a huge fan of him and his political view, but i admit he has the charisma of being a leader.
So back to the topic, basically they are disscussing about many topics (that i seriously take time to understand it because recently i am not so into political news). But there are two topics that i actually are not so agreed with him.
1)MLFS programme that basically about youth future leader that basically focusing in students from 15-17 years old. Top students from top schools around malaysia will be chosen to attend seminar, talks and many activities in this programme to develop their leadership and critical thinking skills. These top students not only excel in academic but also leadership, sportship and other additional talents that make them the gems of country.
Which is obviously not from my social cycle back in schooldays. Thats not the point btw.
It is a good idea and to be honest, actually i i feel these kind of students never fail to received spotlight from country leaders and the media. Look at how famous top spm students starting from amalina che bakri, top young athletes like nicole ann david (since she in highschool she receive all the spotlight) and many more students that appear on Dewan Siswa magazine (yes i know i am such a nerd).
My point is i kinda feel his aim is to look for an apperantice that exactly like him. Young, educated, have leadership and charismatic. It is not wrong to invest on potential students like that. I just feeling bad for a lots of average students that not only struggle in money but also family matter and social problem that make it hard for them to excel in studies.
Like mat luthfi said in one of his book, it is unfair to hold a running competition between a rich kid who wears nike sport shoes with a poor kid that run with his barefoot.
Of course if looking in a general view, many top schools & top students are from the high society, so whats the point on giving them more chance that a normal people maybe cant get even if they try very hard with their own life.
I am not opposing the MLFS, i am just feeling a bit dissapointed.
2) stadium as an entertainment asset. I dont have problem with that. And yes, i know many people would focus on YSS action to bring in kpop singers as an investment in entertainment tourism. *Sigh~
I am sorry but maybe that is a wrong approach. I know as a youth, you are just try to more open and free but frankly speaking, you cant achieved anything if you are trying to be other people. You are referring to south korea that gain their nation profit through entertainment. But do you know how inhumane their industry become that undeniably increasing the suicide rate among the teens.
The point is, we cant be south korea, not even singapore who zeronise their entertainment tax. You just see the surface but not the bottom of the problem. The entertainment that you are trying to promote is more related to gambling, getting drunk, woman as sexual exploit and such.
I know that is only a bit of your weakness in developing the new malaysia idea. Trust me, it is a lot more easier for us to come back to our basic religion and culture. All the duniawi thing would not bring us anywhere. Anything small decision that you make, always think if Allah swt like my decision. That is the basic approach to make our country not necessary wealthy, but at least blessed by its peaceful and harmony environment.
I am sorry. I am not expecting anything from him. But i am afraid that many youth idolised him and his action without realised how wrong he is by neglecting our religion.
